Worship is at the heart of who we are and what we do at East Falls Presbyterian Church. We gather in the sanctuary each Sunday at 10:30, to hear the sacred story and to connect with God and one another in prayer. We offer the right hand of fellowship to all who walk through our doors. We share our joys and concerns in prayer.
Each week we seek to create space for this Body of Christ to gather, to hear God’s Word in Scripture, sermon and song, and to reflect on how the Word intersects with the world we live in. Our worship includes music by the Chancel Choir every Sunday and prepares us to begin a new week in peace – renewed, challenged and strengthened for a life as disciples of Jesus Christ.
We invite everyone interest in joining our Chancel Choir in offering voices and instruments while making joyful melody to the Lord.” Rehearsals are held every Tuesdays evening at 7:30 pm. We sing weekly at our 10:30 am worship services, and at special events. We love having the community join us for our Christmas Concert each December and our Strawberry Festival each June. The Strawberry Festival is performed by the choir with many contemporary pieces, followed by strawberry shortcake and ice cream.
Join us for Easter worship on Sunday, April 21 at 10:30 am. Don’t forget to come early at 9 am for Easter breakfast and an egg hunt for the kids!
Prepare to hear the Easter story by joining us for worship on Palm Sunday (April 14, 10:30 am) and Maundy Thursday (April 18, 7:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall). The Maundy Thursday service will include communion and then transitions to a Tenebrae service as we retell the story of Good Friday.
