Mission Outreach Activities God calls all of us to share the joy and peace of Christ’s love by serving the wider community beyond church walls. East Falls Presbyterian Church responds to this charge by engaging in a growing variety of activities that aid the underserved and vulnerable while supporting social justice in our Philadelphia neighborhoods.
Our Mission Committee ensures we participate in a number of events throughout the year. Committee members update the congregation on a regular basis on upcoming events. All are welcome to assist in these activities. Community organizers and leaders of charitable organizations are often invited to introduce projects and outreach opportunities. Members of EFPC have participated in Mission Events on a global and national level, but the heart of our outreach is dedicated to helping those in need in our local community. This includes serving meals to the homeless and families with children suffering from severe illnesses, working with at-risk teens, and visiting with the elderly and disabled. Fellowship Outreach The leadership of East Falls Presbyterian Church is committed to promoting fellowship aimed at continuously building strength in the Body of Christ beyond traditional worship hours. In addition to many activities for singles and couples, there is growing interest in forming a youth fellowship group and church sports teams.
